NJ-ING Speaker presented “Getting to Know American Muslims and their Faith” to the Jr. class at Delbarton HS on October 8th., 2024. It was truly an interactive session where most of the student questions were covered by the presentation. It was a great opportunity to cover an overview of the religion of Islam in over one-hour long presentation which was appreciated by the World Religions Class Teacher who became a real friend of NJ-ING speakers after many years working together!

NJ-ING Speaker presented “A History of Muslims in America” on August 26th., 2024 at the Manchester Branch of Ocean County Library. We received the following feedback: “The program that the NJ-ING Speaker presented was well done and informative and our Patrons (we had 10) enjoyed it.”

NJ-ING Speakers presented “Getting to Know American Muslims and their Faith” to the 7th. & 8th. Graders at the Cambridge School on May 15th., 2024. The students were engaged and asked excellent questions. It was truly an interactive session. The teacher sent us positive feedback: “thank you for visiting our school and presenting to the students. It was a great compliment to our history course and much appreciated.”

NJ-ING Speakers presented “Getting to Know American Muslims and their Faith” to senior classes at Pascack Valley HS on May 3rd., 2024. The students were engaged and asked excellent questions. The second group was interested to learn about Muslim Pilgrimage (Hajj). It was quite an extensive discussion about Hajj and the personal impact on those who perform it. After we left, the teacher reported that she received many positive comments from students about the presentations.

NJ-ING speakers presented “Getting to know American Muslims and their Faith” at Cliffside Park Middle School on March 21st., 2024. Close to 40 students elected to attend the presentation, a handful of them were Muslims! The session was truly interactive. The students asked a lot of good questions, and it was more like a discussion. NJ-ING speaker asked the Muslim students if they were fasting, and where their families are from. They were from Russia, Palestine, and Egypt. They all had their predawn meals before 5:30 am. The Principal of the Middle School who invited us was grateful for the informative presentation and discussion.

NJ-ING speaker presented “A History of Muslims in America” virtually via GoTo meeting to the audience of Mercer County Library on 31st. January 2024. The audience demonstrated interest in the subject and the presentation was informative. The questions and feedback were really positive.
